OEM and ODM tissue programmes
Your brand on the pack, our plant behind it. We run private-label napkins and tissue from a test batch upward — artwork, print, pack and carton, with the factory documents to match.
At a glance
| Programme | OEM (we make to your spec) · ODM (we adapt an existing spec to your brand) |
|---|---|
| Customisation | Logo, artwork, colour, pack, carton, barcode, shipping marks |
| Printing | Digital for short runs, flexo for long runs |
| Documents | Quotation, proforma invoice, packing list, certificates of origin on request |
| Payment | T/T and L/C — confirmed on the proforma |
| MOQ | Printed napkins and pocket tissue: from 200 bags. Box tissue, soft pack and commercial hand towel: from 10,000 packs. Kitchen towel: from 10,000 rolls. |
The five steps
- 1 · Brief. Item, size, ply, gsm, pack, quantity, market, destination port.
- 2 · Feasibility and quotation. We check the spec against the lines, then quote price, lead time and price basis in writing.
- 3 · Artwork and proof. We check print resolution, colour count and barcode quiet zones, then proof it.
- 4 · Sample. A physical sample or a production-representative proof, depending on the item, so approval means something.
- 5 · Production, inspection, loading. We run, inspect against the approved sample, and send loading photos and documents.
What "own brand" actually covers
Print on the napkin or on the film, the carton design, the pack count, the barcode, the shipping marks and the carton configuration for your pallet. If you sell into retail, we can also work to the pack and carton rules of the chain you supply, provided you send them before the quotation — not after the container is loaded.
What we need from you
- Artwork in vector or a print-ready file, with fonts outlined
- Barcode number (EAN/UPC) and, for retail, the QR/GS1 data if you use it
- The spec you sell today, or the target spec and the price you need to hit
- Destination port and the Incoterm you buy on
- Who signs off the proof, and how fast you can sign it
Artwork we can work from
Send the best file you have. If it is not print-ready, we will tell you exactly what is missing rather than guessing and printing it wrong.
| Element | What we need | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Logo and artwork | Vector (AI, EPS, PDF) with text outlined; 300 dpi minimum for raster | Tissue print loses fine detail first |
| Barcode | EAN/UPC number as digits, not an image | We generate it at print quality with the correct quiet zone |
| Colours | Pantone references or CMYK values, plus any colour that must match the last run | Dye and ink behave differently on tissue |
| Die line | Your carton or wallet die line, or a physical sample | The die decides the fold, and the fold decides the layout |
| Regulatory text | Materials, made-in marking, importer block, recycling marks | These differ by market and must be on the plate |
Timeline of an own-brand programme
These are the stages between your brief and a loaded container. The numbers are the part that most suppliers leave out of the conversation.
| Stage | What happens | What we need from you |
|---|---|---|
| Brief and feasibility | Spec checked against the lines; quotation issued | Item, size, pack, quantity, destination |
| Artwork check | Resolution, colour count, barcode, die line reviewed | Print-ready files |
| Proof / sample | Digital or physical proof approved in writing | One named sign-off, and speed |
| Production | Press, converting, packing, in-line checks | Deposit or L/C in place |
| Inspection | Pre-shipment inspection against the approved sample | Your inspector or ours |
| Loading | Loading photos, container number, documents | Final shipping instructions |
Who owns what
- Your artwork and your brand stay yours. We do not reuse them, and we do not run the same design for anyone else.
- Plates and dies made specifically for your design are charged as a line item in the quotation; the quotation says whether we keep them for your repeats or you do.
- Confidentiality: send your NDA or ask for ours before artwork is shared. Specifications, prices and customer names stay on our side of the wall.
- Samples are charged at cost and credited against the first order.
Questions we answer most often
Can we start with a small own-brand order?
Yes — that is the part of this business most factories will not do for a new customer. Printed napkins and pocket tissue: from 200 bags. Box tissue, soft pack and commercial hand towel: from 10,000 packs. Kitchen towel: from 10,000 rolls.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes. Send your NDA or ask for ours before artwork is shared; we keep customer artwork and specs confidential.
Who owns the artwork and the plate?
You own your artwork. Where a print plate or die is made specifically for your design, we tell you in the quotation how it is charged and who keeps it.
What about certificates for our market?
ISO 9001:2015 for quality management — certificate F03726Q00267R302, issued by AMTIVO (UKAS- and IAF-accredited), first certified 8 August 2017, current issue 6 August 2026, valid to 5 August 2029, scope: the manufacture of toilet paper and tissue paper; verifiable at certcheck.ukas.com, amtivocn.com or cnca.gov.cn; a SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) social-compliance audit carried out by Intertek Shenzhen on 27 May 2026, reference ZAA600207145 — the certificate number and scan travel with the quotation. Where your market asks for SGS or BV testing, a social-compliance audit or a chain-of-custody certificate, we arrange the test or the audit for that order rather than claim a badge we do not hold.

That is enough for a quotation with a real lead time. If you only have half the specification, send half.
